Lifeboat and Rescue Boat Wire Ropes (Rev B)
Please quote price and availability for the following items in support of upcoming topside repair period for USNS Gordon.
Wire ropes are to be spooled on wooden drums, or wooden pallets for shipping and delivery. Stainless steel tags to be attached to each wire rope identifying the type and length.
Proof tests for destructive testing of cable (breaking strength) from supplier and also contractor’s individual certification attesting to SWL and 5:1 safety ratio on SWL required for each wire rope shall be provided with the shipment AND the original invoice. Failure to provide these items shall be cause for rejection of delivery.
